will address us on:

Globalization 3.0: The Evolution of the Creative Economy

Technology has quietly connected the world, and according to author Thomas Friedman, ushered in a ÒFlat WorldÓ in which every nation, every community, everyone is now able to compete with every other. In the wake of outsourcing and off shoring, the developed world - particularly America - is facing the challenges of competing in a very new economy in which creativity and innovation are the benchmarks of success, indeed survival. But what is creativity? What makes someone creative? And importantly, what do our schools and communities need to do to prepare for this basic shift to a truly global knowledge-based economy and society? This new and uncertain age call out for global solutions. The call for closing the Òdigital divideÓ, and the urgent need for global education has become crucial.
